Description
The 5th Wonderwool Wales will be taking place over the weekend of 24th & 25th April 2010, at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys.
Wonderwool Wales is the premier Wool & Natural Fibre Festival in Wales, and will be open from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday, with free parking on site. We also have camping facilities for tents and caravans but these need to be booked in advance (contact bookings(at)wonderwoolwales.co.uk or 01938 820495).
There will be a programme of Woolschools running throughout the weekend with tutors covering different aspects of knitting, crochet, felting, beading etc. These can all be booked in advance using the booking form on our web site.
Wonderwool will again feature the popular Sheepwalk, where Exhibitors can show off their wonderful creations. We shall be scheduling this into the programme at least twice on both Saturday and Sunday so that you can all get to see it.
We have many first time exhibitors waiting to fill the space previously taken by the food festival, so expect to see some exciting new faces in 2010 along with our established favourites.
It is hoped that an Exhibition entitled "Recycling" will be staged in 2010 with work based around the theme in knitting, crochet, felting, weaving and textile art.
Look out for our competitions for 2 free tickets to Wonderwool Wales 2010 which will be running in several of the knitting magazines later in the year.
We shall soon be taking bookings for stands for 2010 with the forms available to download on the website. Enquires regarding stands can be sent to bookings(at)wonderwoolwales.co.uk or telephone 01938 820495.
Olwen, Chrissie and Sarah look forward to meeting all our old friends and new ones at Wonderwool Wales in 2010.
