The Newport tour is a 4 mile walk with various stops. It includes passivhaus design, ground source heat pump and extended family living, all the renewables - wind, water, sun, earth and of course wood.

The area is beautiful, paths and small roads, hope to pioneers like Brian John and John Seymour. It includes single homes and communities of different forms , form intentional, ie everyone decides to live in a community and share things, to haphazard, slightly intentional and just informal neighbours who cooperate.

The building styles and costs are at least as diverse, but hopefully the coffee and cakes are consistently good. An uplifting day out.

Lammas tour takes in the astonishing and other worldly ecovillage being built near Crymych under Welsh low impact policy. More about the policy somewhere else on this website.

Tours have been going more or less monthly since Dec 08.
