A Warm Welcome to HRH The Prince of Wales PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 30 September 2009 22:35

The Dyfed Smallholders Association is delighted to welcome His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales as its first Honorary Member.

The Association was formed in 1987 and is one of the longest-running smallholder associations in the UK with over 150 member holdings throughout Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Members practise small-scale land-based lifestyle and enterprise - from raising livestock and producing vegetables to promoting rural handicrafts and alternative energy usage.

His Royal Highness has been committed to these issues for many years, and his acceptance of Honorary Membership of the Association is encouragement to all who share the Association's purpose of cooperating to foster small-scale agricultural and country pursuits.

We trust that His Royal Highness will enjoy the beauty and calm of this area of Wales and wish him and his family "Croeso".
