1 Lammas
Pioneering "Low-Impact Development"
with a combination of
* land-based livelihoods
* carbon-neutral houses which blend into the landscape
* and a positive contribution to society.
Buy a Share
The best way to support Lammas is to become a member. This is done by buying a share, which costs £50, and becoming a shareholder.
Once you are a member you will receive regular e-newsletters, be invited to General Meetings, and have the opportunity to participate in the project if you wish.
These shares are non-profit-making; you are investing in the future. The money raised from the shares will be used to further the wider aims of the project. (It will not be used to subsidise people's homes).
Shares are withdrawable and non-transferable.
This means that it is possible for shares to be sold back to Lammas at a later date.

5 Welsh Historic Parks and Gardens Trust
WALES has some of the finest historic parks and gardens in Britain. Some, well publicised or recently restored, feature on the regular tourist round. All too many, lie neglected, forgotten or unrecognised. Yet they are as much a part of the Welsh heritage as the buildings they were designed to complement.
The Welsh Historic Gardens Trust was founded when the outlook for these gardens was bleak: indifference, insensitive planning and financial insecurity combined to bring about the destruction of many that might have been saved. The climate is more hopeful now. Gardens are popular. They make good television. But enthusiasm without- understanding has its own dangers and it is vital that rescue operations be carried out to the highest standards. Here, too, WHGT has a role to play. Our members come from all over Wales and beyond, are involved in all the Trust's activities and enjoy a varied and exciting programme of events, including
Lectures, Study Days and Garden Visits
Helping to carry out garden surveys
Practical conservation work
Researching the history of local gardens
Monitoring planning applications
Fund raising and publicity
Spreading awareness of the garden heritage of Wales
Members in Wales belong automatically to their own County Branches and those across the borders to their nearest branch in Wales but all, wherever they live, are welcome at all Trust events.
